Resolution:
The actuators are designed to guarantee precise optical adjustment of 1/4*fringe (1/8*wave) or better. Fine alignment of ¼-fringes allows for decenter adjustability resolution 0.5 microns
Max Y-Decenter travel range: +/- 10mm (limited by locking plate distance from base)
Max X-Decenter travel range: +/- 23mm (limited by bearing size)
Manual rotation adjusted through the side openings of the mirror holding structure aided by OAP flat datum referenced to mount plate feature (AOS mirrors only).
Axis Locking Mechanism + S2 alignment fiducial access
The axis-locking system consists of a threaded insert fitting a vented socket head screw that mechanically locks the optical center from any Tip/Tilt movement.
Locking screw is recommended to be applied after adjustment of the tip/tilt axis to minimize optical drifting.
The mount has a 30mm access feature to aid in alignment.
